Together - Forever

Sitting by the window
relishing the pain,
I hear the sunshine
tip-toeing through the curtains

Cool breeze whispers,
with the whiff of dew
I blush as if I am
caressed by you

darkness engulfs me,
as the morning shines
"I will always be around ",
I hear your broken voice

Cool, sliver of steel,
slides on bare flesh.
The world turns crimson,
but I, feel no more pain

Dark and beautiful! It is quite difficult to deliver both together. But, you managed to do so. Good on you!!! Keep writing!!!

How well you have captured the emotions in this poem, I may not be able to express in words. The desire to be united again in death is too much for the illogical mind to reason further. This poem describes the loss of a very dear one, the one who had seen dreams and visions for a great future for you.

The reassuring hand has succumbed to the cruel fate the nature bestows on everyone. The longing is raking up excruciating pain, one that of helplessness and loneliness. The Soul feels like there is nothing else left to do here in this world, and hence the decisive measures to be reunited forever.

Very touching. Nothing else other than "touching". Regrets on your loss.
